Often see requests for ideas of books to read with a boy-heavy class but very rarely with a girl-heavy class. Shouldn't be requests for either though. If a book's interesting enough and written well enough, both boys and girls will enjoy hearing it. A great book is a great book.

After two weeks of English lessons based on the theme of global warming, I was thrilled today when two children brought in these pictures they had made at home! Lovely to see my lessons are having an impact, but mostly to see that children care so much about the planet 🌏❤️🍃

Was great to attend a meeting this morning with my placement school about what is being done in the local area to tackle climate change. It was fantastic to see how many schools are getting involved and taking action on the climate crisis! 🌍🍃💪🏻 #ecoschools #savetheplanet
