@MbarkCherguia Oklahoma. That’s a pond.

[Becky King @BeckySoars]

@DavidOhse84 @tcblume This is not true. I teach in Deer Creek and Dr. Perez is out and in our schools. He leads by example, not from behind a desk.

Congrats to the 2025 NBA Champs The Oklahoma City Thunder

A win for the city and the state. A journey that could only be summarized visually

Yup.

[Fixing Education @FixingEducation]

“I don’t get why teachers are leaving. They knew what they were signing up for.”

NO, THEY DIDN’T!

And before you say you’re okay with tons of effective & qualified teachers leaving, understand this…America is currently short more than 320,000 teachers and is facing a national crisis.

[Mayor David Holt @davidfholt]

President Clinton came to Oklahoma City four days after the Bombing. At the memorial service at the fairgrounds, he said, “we will stand with you for as many tomorrows as it takes,” and he has kept that commitment. (1/2)

I cannot agree MORE!!

[The Principal’s Office @educator4ever36]

Now that Covid is over, would it be too much to start banning water bottles in class? They literally cause so many disruptions. Fine for lunch, but no need to be in the classrooms.

If a parent asks how they can help their child succeed in school, please start with the BASICS:

•𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩…8-10 hours

•𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧…must limit sugar!

•𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦…let them fail without quickly trying to save them

•𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 30 𝐦𝐢𝐧/𝐝𝐚𝐲…preferably something they want to read! 📖

•𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞/𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲…helps kids with several life skills including problem solving & sharing

•𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞…helps kids in several key ways, impacting their physical health, mental well-being, and social development 📱

You know who LOVES discipline in schools?

The other 29 kids in a classroom that aren’t throwing furniture or cussing out their teachers, want to learn, and want a break from the chaos of their misbehaving peers

Great advice. Another PSA.

It’s the job of administration to solve policy problems at the policy level, not kick them down into classrooms and blame teachers.

Not every teacher is an aspiring administrator. Here's why that’s a good thing. #EWArchive #K12 #Teachers
