Please follow me on the @STFPresident account through my term as President. I am honoured to be given the opportunity to serve Saskatchewan teachers and I hope you’ll join me on this journey.
We are excited to welcome our new STF President Samantha Becotte! Follow her journey @STFPresident, where she’ll inform her thoughts on public education, engage with members and share her commitment to teachers and students in SK. #skteach
19.) Funding reference is from the right-leaning think-tank the Fraser Institute:
“Operational spending for SK schools 👇🏻 5.7% in recent years when adjusting for inflation & enrolment growth - the biggest drop in the country.”

All educators should normalize these statements:
✨“I don’t have the capacity to add that to my plate right now.”
✨ “Weekends are for family.”
✨ “I only respond to emails during office hours.”
Know your job description & be firm with your boundaries. Protect your mental health.
Congratulations to my friend @BecotteS on her election as @SaskTeachersFed president. Congratulations to all of the newly elected Exec members. The STF is in good hands. Your success is our collective success.
Thank you #stfcouncil for the trust you have put in me. I am honoured to be able to represent @SaskTeachersFed .
There is a lot of work to be done in the year ahead. I am looking forward to being an advocate for public education in Sask. https://t.co/M3ysYHGrMx

"Young girls need to see role models in whatever careers they may choose, just so they can picture themselves doing those jobs someday."
