It feels strange to be tiptoeing back into this space, reading old posts about breastfeeding, soft words tucked amongst stark realities. The baby days are no more and I’m trying something different , same platform, same me, new words, new space ✨

Lost for words. Do ministers really think they will get mums back to work by writing a letter? Have they actually consulted mums? Because we do that every single day & issues are: childcare, flexible working & discrimination. They want to work but can’t https://t.co/C1qK4IZNUw

Bring back Mary Shelley-esque writers retreats where a group of weirdo writers spend a weekend together getting drunk and eating snacks and end up writing the most famous horror stories of all time.
An brilliant long read by @JonathSchofield on the neglect which blights parts of Castlefield. It’s insightful and tragic in equal measure and is testament to what happens with disparate land ownership and absent landlords. 1/2 https://t.co/Bxv3zmWUuE
@RachelCalter @alicespake Ooooh @RachelCalter would you mind sending it to me too? B has just had it, so there’s a very good chance Rufus will get it too… but if he doesn’t I want to get him vaccinated, he’s just been so sick this winter I don’t want him to get anything more!
