@ProfJoelPearson What is the vividness variance in those with and without aphantasia and how to better measure it. The relationship between aphantasia and its auditory parallel. And how aphantasia affects detail in memory.
@glupyan A difference I care a lot about and would like to further research is visual vividness and its relation to other cognitive tasks. But another one is that words don't have identical definitions for different people, and it's very hard to catch.
@matthras@glupyan Interestingly, it's not that hard to recognize people you know without being able to recognize their faces. I've noticed that I can recognize people I know from far away by their shape and walk, while not being able to recognize their face if they shave their beard for example
@tallinzen They have a bit of a more negative valence, but 'ill-favored', or 'undesirable' are options.
I feel like dispreferred can either mean - unwanted/undesirable or less-preferred, which aren't exactly the same. But if you are thinking of the first meaning - the options above work.
