Two broken bones: a closed fracture of the right leg and a closed fracture of the left arm after an encounter with draft officers.

A man standing outside the entrance to his apartment building in Ivano-Frankivsk was approached by draft officers and police. They attempted to force him into their van without first checking his identification or documents.

Despite his visible injuries and repeated requests for an ambulance, he was taken to one of the city's Territorial Recruitment Centers. Because of his injuries, he was unable to move on his own. At one point, he fell out of the vehicle and reportedly lay on the pavement for about 15 minutes.

Instead of receiving medical assistance, he says he was accused of "faking" his condition.

The case was made public by Ukraine's Human Rights Ombudsman, Dmytro Lubinets.
