Bought a mixed carton of beers from Alistair at Lobethal Bierhaus. Every single beer a cracker! Bright fresh chewy malt (remember malt flavour in beer?) and bright hops. Still excellent.
@basicbrewing interesting latest video. I’ve always been intrigued by US beer culture. From the movies, everyone has a gun and drinks light beer. Opposite here. A friend visited there & couldn’t find full strength beer so he took a case of Colt45 to a party. Got weird looks.
@abcnews This #Coronation coverage is like NYE all over again. Some amazing orchestra action and we’ve got the music muted and more waffle. Any chance of covering the actual event?
@beersmith any chance of adding @coopersbrewery pale malts to your specs. Quite a lot of small breweries and home brewers are now using their fresh local pale base malts.
@HungryJacksAU Wife brought home 2 free new coffees to try a while back. I’m glad they were free because for 2x black coffees, they both sure had a lot of milk in them. #downthesink
So I’ve resigned myself to the fact that craft brewers are generally cowboys who don’t list allergens. And from here on, I can’t trust their beers until they get organised or fined. Back to wine or spirits.
@Van_Dieman I’m sure some brewers are on the ball, but buying a $15 beer and then having to tip it down the drain as the best case. Or accidentally having a seemingly innocent stout & 12 hours of no sleep & a ruined workday as well. Not worth the risk anymore.
