@puffpuff65 Ever been to Hednesford Town puff puff? Not far from where you are and it’s a big game against top of the league today. Keys Park is a cracking ground for the 8th tier and they have pins, programmes, the whole lot for you
Valencia announced this morning that work would begin on 'Nou Mestalla' again after 16 years. Their aim is to be moved in by 2027.
Sadly, it means their current ground, the iconic Mestalla, will likely be demolished.
The Mestalla is one of football's greatest venues. From a heritage perspective, its demolition would be disastrous.
Grounds like Mestalla are anchor points - social hubs for the football community, places where memories and stories have been shared and created, and a part of the historic fabric of the game.
To lose it would be to lose a part of football's soul.
This is how one of the landmark weekends in the calendar now begins, on a Thursday night, in a not even 20% full Bramall Lane.
32 ties, only 9 are at 3pm on Saturday. You have no right to still market this as the greatest cup competition in the world when you’ve done this to it.
Fans have been given the tiniest taste of success and they’re willing to sell their soul for more
We don’t NEED a new stadium
We don’t NEED to rinse the fanbase for everything they’re worth
We don’t NEED to tear at the very fabric of the club for a chance at success

@AVFCSupport Seems like 736 have been reserved for hospitality. People, who no offence to them, could’ve had their first ST this season getting priority for our first CL game is beyond a disgrace. Not to mention the reasonable price of them tickets compared to our obscene ones. #Heckout
Football is not a ‘product’. I do not want or need a ‘match day experience’, nor do I want gourmet food at half time or light shows and razzmatazz before kick off. A new breed of fans may enjoy this and good luck to them. It’s not for me.
A letter I could never have conceived needing to write in my nearly fifty years of supporting @AVFCOfficial. @chrisheck76 doesn't care, but perhaps others within the club do.

I've tweeted this before, but high ticket prices are not the answer to PSR. Read the below article - https://t.co/Hv9aqkOzUP
Do not fall for the PSR apologists and the timed PR play of the Monchi/Vidagany interview release.
And to the imbeciles who think supporters reactions to these prices are 'moaning' have some self respect. You are the reason corporations also get away with dynamic and 'on demand' pricing. This is moving in a dangerous direction and you are enabling it.

There will have been Villa fans who’ve followed them through thick and thin across decades who now won’t be able to afford tickets to this. We all know the game is dictated by money now but this is such an extreme example. Utterly shambolic.
