Smashing day brewing a NZ hopped saison with @SnappaShaw. This 60l batch is being split three ways - one control, one on rhubarb and one secondary fermented with some funky yeast we've captured (stolen). Can't wait to come back and try it next year!

After an enjoyable day exploring Rotorua, this evening has mostly been about searing meat, drinking beer and preparing for tomorrow's homebrew with @SnappaShaw. Looking forward to brewing up a fruited saison with NZ hops to try on my return to the Bay of Plenty next year!

Great to visit @FunkEstate and meet Jordan Evison whilst in Mount Maunganui this afternoon. The former Auckland brewery now shares a production facility with @MOUNTBREWINGCO and the UK is it's largest export market. Another New Zealand beer success story!
