π« Have you been hearing about the CA Governorβs recent Executive Order to dismantle homeless encampments? What about the #SCOTUS ruling that gives cities permission to fine people for sleeping outside?
Hereβs why we need #SolutionsNotSweeps in the Bay Area.
What we should do instead is build more affordable homes, preserve existing affordable housing, keep people housed, and prevent homelessness before it happens. #solutionsnotsweeps

This executive order follows a recent US Supreme Court ruling allowing cities to fine or arrest those pushed into homelessness for simply sleeping outside. [2/4]
ICYMI: Governor Gavin Newsom issued an Executive Order to dismantle homeless encampments, which are often the only safe places for unhoused individuals to sleep and keep their belongings. [1/4]
