@MLitbot This is a new paper from our lab that used collaborative cross (CC) mice to show that host genetic background has a major effect on whether BCG vaccination elicits a protective response against tuberculosis
@HarrisVitiligo I subscribe to the belief that after 1000, you should just delete all of them and start over. Life is too short, and the arc of emails is long😁
@DavidPosner13 I have been writing grants for ~30 years and I am very fortunate to be continually funded by the NIH; however, I am never confident that Amy grants will be funded. My average is ~40%. I agree with @EloDesroziers, learn something from every rejected grant; don't take it personally
@SaraSuliman13 I wonder whether this is because of lack of ideas, or is it because many of the funders are focused on these late stage candidates. Is it a paucity of ideas or a lack of funds to move candidates forward?
Love #Tuberculosis Research Reboot at #KeystoneSymp. Great to see so many colleagues and hear about their amazing research. Curious whether others got this souvenir T-Shirt? #COVID19
The Behar lab is looking for postdoctoral trainees - if you are interested in studying host immune response to Mycobacterium tuberculosis and/or development of better TB vaccines, and want to do so in a fun and supportive lab environment, consider applying!
Please RT.
@brother_oluyk Hi Akinpelu, did you send the CV to [email protected]? If not, please send it here. I am sorry there appears to have been a typo in my last comment on this tweet (now corrected).
Looking for a postdoc position? The Behar lab is recruiting! I can’t really think of a better place to learn about Tb immune responses, or someone better to learn from! He even managed to teach me 🤣
