@coachzusi@coachking_28@CHSAA Hey Coach. Good points but we’ve lived it for two years and I don’t think any of this has really happened. The only downside I see is a lopsided gap in talent and a team either has to keep scoring or dump it in the corner so they don’t embarrass the other team.
@coachking_28@CHSAA It couldn’t have gone better in NYS. My guess is AD’s and districts are concerned about cost and who is setting up before games. NY is 20 to get over and 70 once you cross and now we don’t need to “touch it in”. Other states should follow!
@coachking_28@JackJoyc3 I think that’s the meat and potatoes if it. Hopkins is no longer the Hopkins of the early 2000’s. Expectations have to change internally and for the fan base. The landscape changes every 10years or so, maybe they’ll be back on top soon. 🍻 for my first ever normal twitter convo!
@coachking_28 That’s what I’m saying…average in the eyes of that program, which I think matters. A program that was once the “standard” in D1 and is now underachieving. Again, I like him but w all jobs when results don’t match expectations changes are made.
@jamiemunro3@transformbball Some constrains could be timing of defense entering, where shots need to be taken from, clearing patterns, constant doubles on defense and pick on of many for offense.
@jamiemunro3@transformbball I think the touching of the middle circle helps with the timing. It will also push the offensive team to inbound and get up the floor as fast as possible. For lacrosse we can do width of field and make a circle of cones. Our inbound is the goalie clear. Cont…
Mission stated.
Consistent, no cost free play spaces starting next week.
70 (and growing!) 2-8th graders in our low cost rec program.
All training is a mix of free play, box lacrosse & a constraints led approach to teaching.
Low cost box lacrosse camps/clinics on deck for future programming.
Unstructured play & evidence-based deliberate practice environments will be the bulk of how we allocate our programming time. Competition will be the cherry on top.
I’m leading the charge in a 100% volunteer capacity.
Educating parents on best practices one meeting at a time.
We are going to completely reimagine what youth lacrosse programming could look like in our area & beyond.
@GregBeast32 Id love to play for Geno from UConn and Schembechler from Michigan. You could also toss Andy Reid in there purely for the creativity he brings to the table.
