Unfortunately, she was right on how to get him riled up for what must have been ages with them in the alleyway, surely doing honorable and platonic things together.

By the time they were done, Zuko was drenched in sweat and panting heavy.

"I... didn't know it'd feel like that."

Toph doesn't notice at all. Instead, she huffs.

"I just woke up and this is what I'm dealing with... You're lucky you're hot."

She pulls him onto the bed with her and gets right to it.

"Oh yeah? Well, since you seem to know so much, why don't you enlighten me then?"

He sticks his tongue at her, regardless if she senses it. Uncle Iroh would probably disapprove.

She flicks his nose now.

Surprisingly, that's a long time for Toph to go without having a male companion of the night.

It made Zuko positively all the more suspicious of her.

"Hm, are you trying to make me noisy now? I thought you didn't like that."

It's probably the first time she's called him that, all the better to get him riled up.

Once it's over, Toph is grinning wide and wiping sweat from her brow.

"Who knew our gentle Zuko had it in him? Not bad. Consider me impressed for once."

"Oh, you really shouldn't have said that to me," he said back in an almost equally low tone with a bit of mischief.

They sped walked holding hands until Zuko gently pulled her aside into an empty alleyway with little outside noises.

"This is all your fault. Reap what you sow."

"A six hour bath and then a full nights of paper work. I will drown him in it!"

[She huffed and gave out another sigh of frustration.]

Toph lets Katara guide her around, trusting her friend to do so. Soon, she finds herself in the stands, amidst a noisy crowd. She crosses her arms to tune it out and focus on the arena. A tap of her foot gives her a hard reading. She can feel the players stepping on the arena +
