I realized that all the big "goals" I was setting for myself were just ways to avoid facing the things that were really bothering me. And so this time, I'm not starting something new. I'm picking up something that has been shelved for far too long.

I just completed a major goal, and now I'm in the "in between" space — I don't have a new major goal laid out yet. It's intentional, as I planned to use this time to address one of the things I've been avoiding for years: MYSELF. It feels REALLY uncomfortable, and that's ok.

@cyb3ramelia Oh man... I start with back end, but then I hate looking at ugly front end while I'm developing and testing so I start working on front end, and then flip flop between the two ingloriously throughout the whole project.

@RetentionJack @FinaloopTeam If you're looking at using something like Finaloop, there's not much to learn. They take care of pretty much everything.

If you want to DIY your books, there are a couple courses available but nothing really comprehensive. I say -- hire a good bookkeeper (me 😉) to teach you!

I don't want to put Alexa in my house, so I'm making my own cute little bot that listens and makes a grocery list for me, then it can text me the list when I head out to the store.
