Two FIRs have been registered in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region against BJP Minority Morcha leader and social media influencer Nazia Elahi Khan, 41, over alleged derogatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad that reportedly hurt religious sentiments.

The first FIR was registered on Monday evening at Shanti Nagar police station in Bhiwandi. The case was filed based on a complaint by local resident Adnan Ansari, who said he came across an Instagram podcast reel in which Khan allegedly made offensive remarks during a conversation with a host.

According to the complaint, Ansari consulted community members before approaching the police.

Senior Inspector Vinayak Gaikwad confirmed that a case has been registered under sections related to deliberate acts intended to outrage religious feelings, along with relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act.

A case of alleged bulldozer action has come to light from Chhidi village in the Bara tehsil area of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, where a Dalit woman has accused the local administration of demolishing her house without any prior notice.

The woman, identified as Mala Devi, has termed the action illegal and unconstitutional and has demanded a fair investigation along with strict action against those responsible.

Family Claims Generational Residence on Disputed Land

Mala Devi said her family has been living for several generations in a semi-pucca house built on plot number 1014, which is recorded as barren land in official records.

She claimed that the family has been residing there for years and was not given any warning or opportunity to present their side before the demolition.

हम जैसे लोग बरसों से चेतावनी देते आ रहे हैं कि नफ़रत की राजनीति का अंत कभी अच्छा नहीं होता। मगर अगर अब भी नहीं संभले, अगर अब भी असली मुद्दों पर सवाल नहीं पूछे, तो सिर्फ़ इमारतें नहीं जलेंगी—सपने जलेंगे, भविष्य जलेगा, और एक पूरा समाज राख में बदलता चला जाएगा।

वक़्त अभी भी है। तय करना हमें है कि हम आग बुझाने वालों के साथ खड़े होंगे या आग फैलाने वालों के साथ।

The Rajasthan Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested a woman in Jaipur on allegations of involvement in activities linked to the banned outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The action was taken under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) after inputs from Military Intelligence, officials said.

According to police, the accused, identified as Babita, was detained from Jaipur rural area and is currently in custody on a seven-day remand for further questioning.

Rajasthan ATS Superintendent of Police Manish Tripathi confirmed the arrest and said the investigation is ongoing.

“During surveillance and subsequent investigation, we detained the woman after receiving inputs regarding her suspected involvement in activities that could pose a threat to national security,” SP Tripathi said.

Allegations of Online Radicalisation and Foreign Contact

Investigating agencies claim the woman was in contact with individuals linked to Pakistan-based networks and extremist handlers through social media platforms. Officials said digital communication, including WhatsApp chats and other online interactions, is being examined.
