Our new website is now live and ready to explore!

https://t.co/hBvOPYbpfK

We have made it much easier for schools, businesses and community organisations to see the work we do, the support we offer and the impact we make across Scotland. You can now find clearer information about our #MentalHealth training, @The_Bothy and our outdoor programmes.

If you would like to work with us, or want to see what we have been building, please have a look and share it with anyone who might find it helpful.

We had the pleasure of welcoming the brilliant team from Covey to our three-day Community Mental Health Learning Programme.

Together, we explored attachment theory, how our relationships shape our nervous systems, and practical ways we can better understand and support ourselves and others. There were some fantastic conversations, shared experiences and learning along the way, all done intentionally through the values of #Kindness, #Compassion and #Love.

A massive well done to everyone who also achieved their @sqanews Level 6 qualification! 👏

As a social enterprise, giving back to our communities is really important to us. That’s why we offer discounted training and qualifications to our charity partners, helping make learning more accessible to organisations supporting others.

If you think your team could benefit, please get in touch. We’d love to have a chat!

We all belong to each other 💙

Sliding into the October Week like… 🛝💛

What better way to finish the term than with some fresh air, fun and laughter!

At The Bothy, we know the importance of giving young people the space to switch off, recharge and simply be themselves. 🌿

Because sometimes the best moments happen when we’re just having fun, making memories and enjoying the little things!

Here’s to a well-deserved October break!

Come on Barbie, let’s go explore! 🎀🩷

Our Mini Dare to Venture group headed to Kelvingrove for a visit to the Barbie exhibition!💕
A day filled with colour, creativity, curiosity and exploring something a little different!

At The Bothy, weekly Dare to Venture is about more than just visiting new places. It’s about building confidence, encouraging curiosity, sharing experiences and creating opportunities for our young people to step outside their comfort zones.

Because sometimes the biggest adventures come from trying something new!

Community Connections isn’t just about getting out into our community, it’s about giving our young people the space to have a voice, share their ideas and shape their own experiences.

We listen to what matters to them, where they want to go, what they want to try and how they want to make a difference. 💛

Because when young people feel heard, valued and included, that’s when real connection and belonging begin.

Their community. Their experiences. Their voice. 🌱

An achievement to be proud of. Well done everyone!

Celebrating the success of young people from @BishopbriggsAC who took on our Dare to Venture week at Badaguish Outdoor Centre and climbed Cairn Gorm.

The weather tested them. Low cloud, cold wind and wet rock underfoot. They looked after each other, kept going and stood at the top together.

They also achieved their @sqanews SCQF Level 5 award in First Aid for Mental Health, leaving the week with skills to support themselves and each other.

That's what happens when young people are given the right challenge with the right people beside them. They find out they're more capable than they thought.
Thank you to Bishopbriggs Academy for trusting us with your young people, to Badaguish for hosting us, and to every one of them for showing up.

New skill unlocked!

This time, our residents were the teachers, showing us all how it's done with a little knitting lesson!

Sharing skills, plenty of patience, a few laughs and lots of learning across generations.

Safe to say... some of us are definitely more natural knitters than others!

Sunshine, team games, conversations and some brilliant young people at @BellahoustonAc.

Our mentors, @LisaAnne031 and @LeeDavidson33 🦋 were in delivering Kitbag sessions and staff training as part of the transition support for young people moving from primary into high school.

We took it outside, built some connections, had a few laughs, and gave the young people a chance to get to know the team they’ll be working with.

Transitions matter. Starting that relationship early matters even more.

Proud that our team have had this opportunity another year to help build those connections.
