@shmeze@rheytah We are so grateful you joined us for Courage in Concert. Mishel’s story is nothing short of miraculous. And she continues to progress - with her husband by her side AND Beit Halochem in her corner!
On behalf of Israel’s disabled veterans, we wish you Shana Tova, G’mar Chatimah Tovah, & a meaningful fast. May the coming year be filled with health, happiness, peace, & new beginnings for us all – most especially for the women & men injured while defending Israel.
Hugely honoured to welcome two remarkable Israeli heroes to Canada at a @BeitHalochem Gala in support of wounded Israeli veterans.
Eytan and Israel were both severely wounded in close combat with Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
All free people owe them and the brave men and women of the IDF a huge debt of gratitude for defending civilization against the violent theocratic barbarism of Hamas and its terrorist allies.
@CanuckAboud@JewishNewsUK I think the better question is: is there anything Israeli injured veterans can’t do, once they put their minds - and bodies - to it? We’re SO proud of every athlete who competed in Vancouver.
Israel’s veterans, some injured on October 7 & ensuing war - and all #BeitHalochem members - win medals at #InvictusGames in #Vancouver. They tried curling for the first time & won bronze! Against Canada! https://t.co/SbdC4aVQaj via @JewishNewsUK
#BeitHalochem-Team Israel made us, #Israel, & themselves proud. Shabbat shalom to all our injured Heroes - whether they competed at #InvictusGames2025 in #Vancouver or not. Day in & day out, they are our champions - each & every one of them. https://t.co/3PEwjaVaD9 via @THEJ.CA
Our “Beyond the 7th” audiences in Montreal and Toronto this past spring were moved by Daniel Weiss’ remarkable talent & mesmerizing performances. We’re proud to see him go from strength to strength in his growth as an artist while continuing to grieve the loss of his parents.
This is a must watch. 🇮🇱
Valerie Hamaty, an Orthodox Christian of Arab origin, is one of the nominees to represent Israel in Eurovision 2025, and yesterday she performed the song "Hurricane" by Eden Golan with Daniel Weiss, who lost both his parents on October 7th.
Beautiful.❤️
We are immeasurably sad today. But we are strong. And we continue to achieve. Our #BeitHalochem@ZDVFtweet members make us proud always. They have made #Israel and themselves proud today. Kol Hakavod to these athletes and #ParalympicGames2024#PARIS2024 champions.
We are so proud of our #BeitHalochem members, injured in the line of duty, who have overcome every challenge to compete on behalf of #Israel. Champions, all. #Paralympic2024#Paris
Our #BeitHalochem members are at #ParisParalympics ready to make us, #Israel, and, most importantly, themselves proud! We can't wait to cheer them on! Meet the Israeli athletes heading to the Paris Paralympics https://t.co/2RBTMipaF3 via @Israel21C
@MichaelChaikof Thank you for your support! With 10,000+ security forces injured & over 3,000 already officially recognized as Israeli disabled veterans, our work is more crucial than ever. These men & women will be supported as they work to reclaim their lives at our rehabilitation centres.
@Wilnerness Our Beit Halochem Centres are now preparing for thousands of men & women injured while defending Israel. They’re increasing staff & inventories of rehabilitative equipment and, most significantly, expanding vital PTSD programs. Thank you so much for your support & shout out!
When we light our candles this evening
We honour those murdered
We pray for each one taken hostage
We hope the injured go from strength to strength in their recovery
We thank our defenders
We think of our Beit Halochem family and all of Israel
Am Israel Chai #WeStandWithIsrael
His actions played a pivotal role in turning the war around. He is one of #Israel’s most decorated Heroes & #BeitHalochem@ZDVFtweet member. Many of us in Canada got to hear his incredible story when he appeared at @BeitHalochem “Celebration of Life” concert. #YomKippurWar
For the first time, disabled @IDF veterans are participating in the #InvictusGames, which are being held this year in Dusseldorf, Germany. The athletic competition brings together wounded warriors from around the world and uses sports as tools for physical and mental rehabilitation. We wish the best of luck to everyone participating! 🇮🇱💪🏽
