HEARTWARMING: #49ers All-Pro tackle Trent Williams says that after his cancer diagnosis his doctors told him they did not know if he would live much longer.

“Every time I go into a locker room, every time I put the helmet on. I flash back and think about the time when Doc said, ‘Get your affairs in order.’”

The doctors told Trent, “You need to get closer to your girls. It looks pretty serious, I don’t know how long you got left. You need to get your affairs in order.”

Williams underwent surgery and removed the tumor, losing 30% of his scalp, with skin grafts and hundreds of stitches.

Trent beat cancer, rehabbed, and has since gone on to be a multi-time All-Pro and Pro Bowler, becoming one of the greatest tackles in league history.

One of the best stories in league history.
