I did battle at a legislative hearing with the national atheist group trying to fingerprint and register every member of health care sharing ministries in a certain left-coast state.

The bill sponsor didn’t even know the atheist bill had put fingerprinting in his bill. Because they often just copy and paste from outside friends.

I ran the trade association for the health care sharing ministries for six years. Before that I worked on health policy in government for decades. I still get a text about once a month that reads: “hey, are these things legit or a scam?”

Tomorrow I'm answering that text in public. Four buckets, one checklist, and the red flags that should make you hang up the phone.
