Hyderabad- Pune NH turns abysmal as soon as you enter MH. And I travel frequently to Kalaburagi from Latur. As soon as you enter Karnataka roads are in absolute top condition. Difference is glaring and shameful.

All that criticism and unnecessary bashing was so unjustified. The road is a bit off. It's OK. It has brought down my once a month powai - Oshiwara - BKC run from more than an hour in each segment to 45 mins each.

धाराशिव शहराच्या सर्वांगीण विकासासाठी सातत्याने केलेल्या पाठपुराव्याला मोठे यश मिळाले असून, राज्य शासनाच्या वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण योजनेंतर्गत धाराशिव नगर परिषदेला तब्बल १८ कोटी रुपयांचा निधी मंजूर करण्यात आला आहे. यासंदर्भातील मंजुरी आदेश आज राज्य शासनाने निर्गमित केले आहेत.

या निधीतून धाराशिव शहरातील नागरिकांच्या दृष्टीने अत्यंत महत्त्वाची असलेली विविध विकासकामे हाती घेण्यात येणार आहेत. यामध्ये आठवडी बाजाराचे आधुनिकीकरण, राजमाता जिजाऊ उद्यान, छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज उद्यान तसेच हिंदुहृदयसम्राट बाळासाहेब ठाकरे उद्यानाचे विकास करणे यांसारख्या कामांचा समावेश आहे. या प्रकल्पांमुळे शहराच्या सौंदर्यात भर पडणार असून नागरिकांना अधिक दर्जेदार नागरी सुविधा उपलब्ध होणार आहेत.

धाराशिवच्या विकासासाठी महायुती सरकार कटिबद्ध असून, शहराच्या प्रगतीला नवी गती देणारा हा निधी भविष्यातील विकासाचा मजबूत पाया ठरणार आहे. विकासाभिमुख दृष्टीकोनातून घेतलेल्या या निर्णयामुळे धाराशिवच्या नागरी सुविधांमध्ये लक्षणीय सुधारणा होऊन नागरिकांच्या जीवनमानात सकारात्मक बदल घडून येईल.

धाराशिव शहराच्या विकासासाठी उदारपणे निधी उपलब्ध करून दिल्याबद्दल राज्याचे मुख्यमंत्री, दोन्ही उपमुख्यमंत्री तसेच महायुती सरकारचे मनःपूर्वक आभार आणि अभिनंदन!

If every taxpayer can be tracked for every rupee he owes the government, why can’t the government show taxpayers where every rupee spent on roads has gone?

The Government has admitted at various points that nearly ₹5,500 crore has been spent on Bengaluru’s roads. Citizens have a right to know where this money has gone and what outcomes it has delivered.

My demand is simple.

Within the next 30 days, the Government must launch a publicly accessible live dashboard for all road infrastructure works in Bengaluru. Every citizen should be able to see:

• Which road is being worked on
• The cost of the project
• The contractor executing it
• The officer responsible
• The timeline for completion
• The maintenance period
• The defect liability period
• The real-time status of the work

This is not a difficult reform. Bengaluru is India’s technology capital. Hundreds of technology professionals would gladly volunteer their expertise to help build such a platform.

Transparency creates accountability. Accountability improves quality. Quality builds public trust.

₹5,500 crore later, Bengaluru deserves answers.

Build the dashboard. Put every road work online. Let citizens see where their money is going.
