The fact that so many amazing educators, who impacted and nurtured so many, will not be returning next year is heartbreaking, but completely understandable.
@ont_rose She's making the right choice. After 29 years, I'm "served out"! The expectation to spend your own money, time and life for school because you "love children" is a toxic positive ideal!!! I'm positive that her leadership skills will be useful in a career other than public ed. !
No matter what horse you had in this race a 33% voter turnout means Ontario lost tonight. Every teacher, student, essential & front line worker lost tonight. Democracy lost tonight. Acountability & leadership lost tonight. Caring lost tonight.
what disgusts me most is the idea of all those rich developers, the wealthy owners of crooked LTC homes, the shady, powerful friends of @fordnation who are cheers-ing and celebrating right now knowing how much they will take from you, ontario.
@gmbutts At a time when the world is about to go through the greatest global food crisis in 100 years, Ontario is about to pave over the most productive farmland in Canada. Dark times.
Didn't lower electricity or gas prices. Beer isn't a buck. Beer & wine isn't sold at convenience stores. Ended hallway medicine because patients can't even get into the ER. Dropped OHIP coverage on blood work. Just imagine how much more Ford can GET DONE in the next four years.
I don't care what the polls say - they aren't a reflection of reality, just a projection.
I choose to believe that a week from today, Ontario will no longer be @fordnation. Ford fired!
Vote accordingly. Let's "get it done"! 💪 #OntEd#onpoli#OntarioElection2022#OntarioVotes
Just wondering why the media has not been covering all the changes to our OHIP coverage in Ontario?
I think this would be a key election issue in the provincial election ?
Transparency counts!!
86$ dropped at LifeLabs today thanks to @fordnation taking cancer screening blood work off the list of OHIP covered test. 86$ for some people would make the test unattainable. Imagine finding out you have cancer & being the person unable to afford the blood work. FU @fordnation
Never forget Ontario had seniors die of malnutrition, dehydration, and neglect due to lack of care as COVID surged in for-profit long-term care homes. This is beyond a policy failure. This is a moral failure.
