My buddy @grayson_wa came up with a crazy lanterns theory I’m like 95% sure is going to happen.

- first we know that antaan is likely atrocitus and he threatens to destroy part of south Nebraska if John fails to identify the manhunter.

- so what if obviously bc of John telling Hal and them trying to thwart them, which they will probably do, they instead target coast city to get back at Hal considering they already know he lives there, and that’s what sets Hal’s full transformation off as parallax in the 2026 timeline.
