Thur, July 11, 2024 7:29pm Bell Co Emergency Management toned out the BCVFD to a structure fire, Hances Creek. The incident was reported as having propane tanks inside the house which presented additional hazards.

This was a 3 alarm fire that included a request for mutual aid from the Pineville Fire Dept.. The Arjay, Calloway, Clear Creek, Colmar, East Pineville and Right Fork Companies all responded to the scene.

Chief Tim Howard said, “the outside weather temperature, the heat from the fire and the propane gases inside the home all presented difficult challenges. We also faced challenges in shuttling water due to the narrow roadway and location of the fire”.

Wed, April 10, 2024, BCVFD responded to an automobile fire endangering a residence.

Paged 4:24pm Calloway Co, Station 7, East Pineville Co, Station 2, to the scene, King Roark Road off US 119, Page Community.

The automobile was a pickup truck and the fire was a total loss.
