@Strickomaster @rachelburden @bbc5live @BBCSounds Totally agree, was told by an ofsted inspector- when I tried to give him context and focus on progress rather than end of KSresults- that telling him we had a large proportion of children coming in to school speaking no English, was an excuse.

The pressure of impending Ofsted is like nothing else.

Since our inspection I sleep better, eat better and spend less money on ‘things’ to try boost my mood. My relationship with family is better. My heart rate is lower.

The mental, and physical, toll is huge.

Time for change.

@MissKhan__ But the school I’m at now C of E don’t do anything to acknowledge any special times in other religions, despite being a multi religion, multi cultural school, wondering how best to approach Ramadan this year for the 4 Muslim children in my class, and others across school.

@MissKhan__ I like the idea, I used to work in a school where 90% + of the children were Muslim so Ramadan and Eid were part and parcel of our annual celebrations, we had Eid parties and a Ramadan lunchtime room for those fasting.
