One thing I feel missing from discussion around yesterday’s rain in Delhi & Gurgaon.
Delhi received heavy rainfall & Gurgaon had heavy rainfall too. But when I searched online, I found very few visuals from Delhi showing severe waterlogging.
In contrast social media flooded with videos from Gurgaon showing roads submerged, cars stuck & infrastructure failures.
This is where administration and execution make a difference.
I have personally witnessed work done in Delhi over the last 6 to 12 months: large scale desilting, drainage upgrades n replacement of smaller pipes with bigger drainage lines in several areas. This impact was visible yesterday.
A year or two ago Delhi used to face situations very similar to Gurgaon during heavy rains. So this is not about claiming Delhi is perfect. Future rainfall may still create waterlogging in some areas. But if we talk specifically about yesterday contrast was noticeable.
I think Haryana’s authorities, especially in Gurgaon should learn what worked in Delhi and implement similar measures. Gurgaon doesn't need excuses anymore. It needs execution.

NHAI would like to inform that a localized cave-in has occurred on a portion of NH-48 near Narsinghpur (Delhi-Jaipur Side) at a location where @OfficialGMDA was carrying out pipe culvert pushing works.
As a precautionary measure, two lanes of the highway have been immediately closed to ensure the safety of road users. Traffic management measures have been put in place, and the concerned GMDA team has reached the site to undertake restoration works.
NHAI is extending all necessary support and is closely coordinating with the executing agency to facilitate early restoration and ensure safe movement of traffic. The situation is being continuously monitored. NHAI regrets the inconvenience caused and requests the National Highway commuters to follow traffic advisories at the site.

🚨 BREAKING: After delaying the road work for nearly two months, Ward-15, Gurugram is now #laying_bitumen_during_rains.

Standard engineering practice generally discourages bitumen paving on wet surfaces, as moisture can affect bonding, compaction, and the long-term durability of the road.

If the work could wait two months, causing residents hardship due to dust pollution, why couldn’t it wait for dry weather? Taxpayers deserve infrastructure built to proper standards, not rushed at the expense of quality and waste taxpayers money !

There were days on Dhurandhar that I knew I was witnessing something incredibly rare.
The 26/11 sequence. The final tea shop scene. The Pathankot massacre. The pump house scene. The court exterior. Just to name a few. Take after take, scene after scene, you never once looked for the easy choice. Every emotion landed exactly where it needed to. Every silence had meaning. Every glance had intent. Every beat was pitch perfect.
The consistency was almost impossible to comprehend. It genuinely felt like watching someone touched by divine grace. As though Maa Saraswati herself had placed her hand on your head and blessed you with every ounce of artistic brilliance she could.
As a director, there are moments you spend your entire career hoping to experience. You gave me those moments again and again.
I truly believe what you’ve done in Dhurandhar is one of the finest performances Indian cinema has ever seen. It isn’t just a performance, it is a force of nature. Fearless, towering and so complete that it disappears into the soul of the character.
I have no doubt people will talk about this performance for years, perhaps generations to come.
But what I’ll cherish even more is everything that happened between “Action” and “Cut.” The conversations. The shared conviction. The relentless pursuit of getting every single moment right.
Somewhere along the way, you stopped being just my actor.

You became my brother.

Thank you for trusting me with your heart, your craft and your madness. Thank you for giving Dhurandhar every piece of yourself.

The moment Manish Kashyap posted his video claiming that his Toyota Innova Hycross was damaged due to E20 petrol, I knew he was lying and doing it purely for engagement farming.

Hycross was launched in December 2022, and E20 petrol was introduced in January 2023. Every Toyota Innova Hycross is fully E20-compliant.

He lied, spread panic, and was caught red-handed within 48 hours.
Toyota inspected his vehicle and confirmed the issue had nothing to do with E20. The car had been running on adulterated, non-standard fuel. After the fuel system was cleaned and standard E20 was refilled, the vehicle ran perfectly normally.

There are people with genuine concerns and they deserve attention. But then there are individuals like Manish Kashyap, who peddle fake propaganda for views, money, or political mileage.

You will see many such videos in future

Shame on @Swiggy for treating its delivery partners this way.

We placed an order from Baskin Robbins that should have arrived in 45 minutes. Instead, after 50 minutes, the delivery executive came to our doorstep without the order because the restaurant had been closed since the afternoon.

He had video proof, proof that he had reached the location, and messages sent to Swiggy asking for help—but Swiggy never responded. We even called the restaurant ourselves, and they confirmed they had been closed for hours. So why was Swiggy still accepting orders?

We got our refund, but that’s not the issue.

Despite repeatedly telling Swiggy that the delivery executive was not at fault and had all the evidence, they still slapped him with an ₹850 penalty.

To make matters worse, Swiggy customer care disconnected our call while we were trying to resolve the issue. They also kept insisting they were trying to contact the delivery executive, even though he was standing right in front of us and didnt receive a single call.

This is unacceptable. A company worth billions should not be forcing hardworking delivery partners to pay for its own system failures. Stop punishing the people who keep your business running and take responsibility for your own mistakes.
