- he left Russia, self-imposed permanent exile

- traveled the world, and began developing a new project: Telegram.

- Telegram was built as a private messaging service with a focus on privacy.

- with 700 million monthly users in 2023

- telegram now serves nearly 9% of the global population

- in an interview with Tucker Carlson Durov mentioned that during his last visit to the US

- secret services tried to recruit a TG engineer without his knowledge.

- but Pavel stands firm on privacy.

The UAE Ministry of Defense has announced that since hostilities began earlier today between Israel, Iran, and the United States, 137 ballistic missiles have been detected and launched by Iran toward the Emirates, with 132 of them being destroyed by air-defenses, while 5 fell into the Persian Gulf. In addition, 209 one-way attack drones have been launched by Iran, 195 of which were intercepted, while 14 fell in the Gulf and on the territory of the UAE.
