If you want a rare life, you have to be delusional. Doubt can enter your mind, and it can sound reasonable, but if you entertain it too much it will slowly drag you down into stagnation. I'd rather reap the lesson from massive failure than do nothing because it's not "realistic."
Slowly, then all at once.
You can’t always predict the trajectories that compound interest will elevate you toward and through. It’s rarely ever linear.
You can, however, focus on giving each day your diligent, sincere effort.
Be open to opportunities and life will do the rest.
pattern recognition is the highest form of intelligence.
while everyone else is busy watching what's happening right now, reacting to headlines, you're watching what always happens.
same market cycle. same human behavior under pressure. same mistake, made by different people in a different decade who were equally convinced their situation was unlike anything that came before.
that gap between them and you isn't raw intelligence. it's accumulated pattern recognition.
you've done enough reading, enough watching, enough reflecting to know the shape of things before they fully form.
the person next to you is reacting to events. you're watching structures. they're reading the news. you're reading history.
you've just seen this movie before. and you already know how it ends.
just lock in bro. just lock in. it’s hard. but you gotta find the dawg in you. you gotta show you deserve all this shit. you gotta show you ain’t gonna waver if it’s crunch time. you gotta not die when it’s crunch time. you gotta survive as a hero. don’t die as a hero. win bro.
The day you realize that the world belongs to high energy, risk-takers who are not afraid to expose themselves to uncomfortable positions with uncertain endings is the day everything will start to work in your favor
It is a lie that you need to be ultra-intelligent to make it
sure - smoking weed, playing call of duty and gooning to instagram hoes might feel good for a moment, but once you truly taste the life of discipline, achievement, goal-crushing, people depending on you, people asking you how the fuck you did it, taking care of the people you love, proving people wrong simply by being, impressing even yourself, setting a goal and crushing it 10x, and going to bed late at night exhausted and proud of what you have done today, there's simply NO going back. there is no drug in the world that feels better.
Remember, Luck is engineered.
Right rooms, right people, right time.
High energy. High speed.
Being in perpetual motion.
Repeated risk taking.
No “I’m unl*cky” loser self talk.
Constant optimism.
Constant gratitude.
Do this long enough and luck will find you.
