Face to face conversations are have more of an impact than those not the internet. For one, social medias sometimes have word counts. Second, the tone is always stronger in person, And third, your message is taken more seriously.
It is important to be critical while using the internet. You shouldn't believe everything that you read because there are so many untrue posts being sent out to grasp negative attention.
Young children should be exposed to as much internet as they are regularly. I was surprised t read that the average 10 year old spends 8 hours a day on the internet. That is way to much for a child and takes away from their intellectual learning.
@NatalieYepez The way people type also has an influence on what is interpreted. People will take your tone differently or even if you write in caps, people will take it as if you are yelling.
As technologically smart we are with the internet I wonder if every internet user knows the different between most legal and illegal uses of technology. Sometimes things you think were legal might not be evident.
It is important for there to be programs implemented in schools that allow for children to understand how to properly use the internet and how to be good digital citizens.
Instead of the internet just being used by people i think it shaped people into who they are. It changes them (maybe for the good or for the better) but it allows them to interact and develop.
I used to not have good digital health because I would use my phone/social media applications very occasionally. However, i started to realize and slowly started using it less #lesson4
@KishanP66563695 i dont like this because i think it is important to be who you are and hiding behind a screen doesn't give you more power or more strength. Because in the end, you wont be in the real world by always running form face to face interactions. #lesson6
