Robin Williams in Good Morning, Vietnam (1987). During his first broadcast, he improvised the entire monologue on the spot, which makes the scene even more incredible 😭🎬
Big Boy’s crossing of the Rockville Bridge, near Harrisburg.
It’s been awesome filming Big Boy 4014’s journey across Pennsylvania the past month.
I’m not sure what was more impressive... the locomotive itself, or the love & passion people have for it. Either way, it was great!
Nice surprise today at work. The Union Pacific, Big Boy came down the tracks behind our plant in Tipton PA. The Big Boy was traveling the Tyrone line to Altoona PA. Rail City. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
Watch the video to the end. Americans truly celebrate and applaud our legacy and cheer it. Today Big Boy 4014 rolled through Pennsylvania via Lebanon, PA. We got a good chance to see it twice. Once around the fields near a crossing at Myerstown and again at Palmyra. The crowds lined up the entire stretch whether by the rail tracks or at crossings or bridges was a sight to see. All for less than a minute to watch Big Boy whistle by.
It was pretty cool to see Big Boy travel across the Rockville Bridge yesterday between Dauphin and Perry Counties after a stop in Harrisburg.
It’s on its way up to Altoona today!

@WNEP Talk Back has produced thousands of epic rants from folks in my home region.
Heading out now to Altoona to see Big Boy 4014 for myself. Haven’t been this excited for a train since Petticoat Junction premiered 🚂
So this morning I woke up early because I was going to see a train. This is Big Boy 4014, built during WWII to haul heavy stuff over the mountains in the West. 25 Big Boys were built.
TRAIN BREAK: the largest steam train in the world, the UP 4014 "Big Boy", crosses the Rockville bridge, the longest stone arch bridge in the world.
An amazing sight.
A rare sight in Upper Providence Twp today! Union Pacific Big Boy #4014 rolled through our community for the second time in a week — drawing neighbors together to witness a piece of living history. Squad 68 was proud to be out in the area as this iconic locomotive passed by.
Union Pacific’s Big Boy 4014 rolls into Pottstown, Pennsylvania in the pouring rain—and hundreds are waiting to greet him.
