@emilykmay Ugh, no one is refusing to acknowledge laws have harmful outcomes. Children strip-searched in the middle of the night after a SWAT raid because the parents were cooking meth, is harmful. We don’t mention the harm with every raid for a reason. Aren’t you a journalist, FFS.

@zplerhop @emilykmay It is cause pain now or, much greater suffering in the future. If 100 people a day commit suicide because of immigration policy that is on them. This is still the moderate option. Their mere existence is a threat, they’ll tell you as much.

@DanielDiMartino You are making a critical error. Part of what allowed him to amass that wealth was a lack of layoffs. The average private sector worker doesn’t stay at the same company which causes a sequence of returns problem.
