Also asking this re. whether I’ll work in the NHS for all my career, so whether it might be good to have a private one because of that. For example, I’m interested in exploring areas like higher education, policy and typically non-AfC clinical environments like GP in the future

Can anyone on here (or pension experts) advise me on whether the NHS Pension is worth it or not, or what other schemes are worth considering please?

I’ve always heard colloquially that the NHS pension is “really good”, but is it?
