Some quick numbers for those that are tracking AI performance for local LLM. The base PC, 9950X3D, 96GB DDR5, 4TB 9100 Samsung nvme, testing RTX6000 Pro MaxQ 96GB VRAM = Loads 120b OSS Model all in VRAM. vLLM performance 178t/s and 172t/s with LMStudio with 4bit and 8,192 context window.

The Zotac AMP Extreme RTX 5090 32GB at 30b parameter with same system, 272t/s but only 38t/s if using the 120b model due to it only loading partial in GPU VRAM and rest in system. @nvidia

Everyone needs to see this. @TheVinoMom explains how some private equity groups are purchasing up HVAC companies that are small businesses & their likeness and giving the illusion they are still a small business.
They then allow people to finance their exorbitantly high new costs which now appear to be price fixed amongst the competition because they also own the competition and in the agreement signed it allows them to exercise a clause which has a lien on your home and attempt to take your home from you.
Remember when we all said the Frank/Dodd Act was a sham written by Wall Street post the Lehman collapse & financial crisis of 2008 that only made them more powerful? We weren’t kidding.
