To add to this, those costs just hurt the small business owner. Ent has limitless war chests. The small business owner does not. Efficiency and speed of innovation are my only competitive advantage. Increase costs and that dwindles.
Also, taxation rarely, if ever, goes away. Once the government gets a taste for the money it only gets worse. Also, where does the money go? Earmarked for a 10 year government funded energy project following some pork filled bill or should I beg daddy IRS to give me my small deduction on my power bill after I paid thousands of dollars in token fees?
This assumes they are not already trying to reduce overhead. What business in their right mind wouldn't try to reduce OPEX? Also, who thinks the government will be responsible with tax dollars? Anything is possible but it would be a foolish bet. It's about as likely as a billionaire suggesting a policy that isn't self serving. I've already switched some of my products to Chinese models. Anyone can easitly strip PII and do the same for my foundational models at the cost of a few tokens.
Claude fan from day one and working toward Anthropic partnership. This type of interruptions is wearing my patience really thin.
I am getting Opus api errors but still have quota. I switched to Sonnet but the context window is smaller. So it refused to /compact.
Getting fed up.
On the flip side, Codex just works. It works in terminal, Hermes, OpenClaw etc. Thinking my loyalty is misplaced and that Opus is no longer worth the effort. Sunk time costs or not.
Why would I build on an undependable platform that is pushing for lock-in and unreliable at the same time? There is no platform on earth where someone would architect around a vendor like that.
We just published a new article sharing our experiences in helping companies navigate their decision process in how to integrate MultiModal AI and Autonomous Agents into their businesses.
I think it's a must read if you are currently going through this transformation process.

I literally have no idea what you are talking about. You "Haven't seen the original video" but have an uninformed opinion. I feel sad for you and whatever mind virus and toxicity you are carrying around that you would feel the need to comment in that way. Social media can be such a sewer sometimes.
That is quit a bit of rust. I didn’t see this message in the comments but I wonder what the weather was like when you last drove it. Was it icy and was there salt on the road? Also, was it wet when you parked it. I read that the other one wasn’t as rusty but I’m curious if the rain actually washed some salt off.
@tybrewer@fedesimio@evernote Ha ha I just made that same comment before I read yours. The 30 minutes is great for voice memos, but not so much for conference calls.
@fedesimio Awesome I look forward to trying it. In the future, if there’s any way that you can extend audio recordings on 30 minutes for paid customers that would be fantastic. It’s great recording short business calls but many times they extent beyond the 30 minute mark.
Agreed with your hash tag. Dev has been dead for a year and it’s still my go to app to bring all of my data and experiences together. I understand the pivot but killing a successful product while building another is a really really odd decision. It’s yet to be explained why and the data gathered wasn’t at least integrated with limitless. Currently the transcription, poor diarization, and GenAI sucks and will never improve. So far, the answer is “vote for features you want” in Limitless but all of the features that would bring in Rewind features are not riadmqpped so it’s a waste of time. The only dev effort are to improve the pendant.
@UncleHecky@dkalthomas@elonmusk You would still have humans in the loop. It’s not as though you would just hand over control. Train the AI (really ML) on historic data and continue to tune based on human decision making.
