Seemed like a stand-up guy from my brief interaction, and his parents are great. They're proud of him, even though they're also heartbroken.

I know that his family isn't eligible for any death benefit from the state since the Wintergreen PD is a private police department, but that's all I know. A number of his surviving family members have health and disability issues.

@SMartinStafford I can only speak to my own experience and that of family members, but the answer for us is a resounding yes. Too much in our lives and in the lives of those we know appears to have a guiding hand in it for us to even question His existence.

@JasmineH_26 @SMartinStafford That's pretty much how I do it, as well. I use it as a descriptor the same as eye color or hair color/style or clothing, and also as a way of differentiating regions and kingdoms.
