So, mainly for my own sanity, here are a few thoughts to get off my chest about the whole ‘gender debate’. This might be a long thread so please feel free to scroll on by if it’s not for you. So, here goes:

@sharrond62 Has there ever been another top swimmer that dominated a stroke over such a range of distances? 100m to 1650m - so both a sprinter & endurance athlete? It seems implausible and only possible, imo, if you put a massive male person in the women's race but are there other examples?

@adhib @FeministRoar It's like the politics version of the Gell-Mann Amnesia effect. It's deeply worrying to think the people (some honourable exceptions aside) who pass our laws don't even grasp the basics of the argument and often have fundamental concepts completely back to front

@Bleedinheart2MD Maybe it's because I've had to go out to work all the way through, but it does feel like a lot of the decision makers have gone completely mad from cabin fever
