Council Leader Julie Dore has made a full unreserved apology at Cabinet following the Ombudsman report into the tree controversy last week
She says she accepts the "controversy and concern" the issue has caused and the dispute should not have got to the point it did

She said she has more important things to take care of as she is a member of Parliament now. This is not a matter she had been willing to help with for the past 7 months at least.

I find it distasteful of GD to still try to enforce the court costs she initiated on me after all this bad press.... Only because I'm asking for a meeting so we could kindly address the issues around my case.. She always refused.

Last Wednesday at #sheffield Council cabinet meeting. I didn't get any precision on the letters I received because "I can't walk like that with a bag to come ask my question"From the head of legal governance. They've been fobbing me about for 8 month now. Not one straight answer.
