@lionel_trolling There's no way to tell now whether or not the choice that Snyder et al have made is the best choice for our present circumstances. But it could be; only time will tell. But I do think, from the perspective of 2025, it's a perfectly reasonable choice.

@lionel_trolling Given where Germany ended up heading in the 1930s, getting the hell out early proved to be the best choice. That won't necessarily be the case with the US in 2025, of course.
