@AllisonPearson There will. Electricity consumption is down a third since 2006, so it can go up at least 50% and we will only be back where we were then. And that is without accounting for a more even spread of load across 24 hours.
@NickFurther@AvaSantina An employer who is happy to have 75% of them covered by someone who is also getting other skills and demonstrating ability to work? They could even employ two people to cover all the shifts...
@JamesMelville Waiting lists were 7million a year ago. Hardly anyone has been waiting over a year today. So that's at least 14 million people in the past year who have had an NHS operation or been added to the list not counting millions more during the year.. Why are we so unhealthy?
@NicholasGuyatt I'd ask them what they think of Hamas' and the Gazan peoples' policies and views on Trans and LGBT rights. And whether stoning adulterous women to death takes it too far (or not).
@999Control Many dual carriageways have no hard shoulder and are unlit at night. Why is no-one who is calling for hard shoulders on smart motorways to be reimplemented not also calling for all of them to be reduced to one lane as well? More dangerous because there's no lane monitoring.
@Lee_loz114 @Keir_Starmer How can he fail?
1. Undefinable
2. A cut of 1 day is a cut
3. Launching is easy. What will it do though?
4. Easy to set up. Might only have 1 customer. K Starmer.
5. Undefinable
6. You have to recruit some new ones to replace the retirees. Doesn't day the total will increase.
