@vivaLaVidaBxt@WelshFanZoneTV Absolutely, knowing where they stand during a Westminster election is fine. Voting along those lines in an election that has literally zero impact on it demonstrates a political illiteracy to the way governance across the UK actually works. Like I said, it's a dog whistle.
@vivaLaVidaBxt@WelshFanZoneTV Sure, nobody has suggested that the Senedd has any control over immigration. And definitely not Reform or anyone connected to them...

Total lies and fearmongering from Plaid Cymru.
Reform UK stands for:
โ Controlled immigration
โ An NHS that works
โ Common sense over woke ideology
โ Putting Wales first, not global interests
The choice is clear.

@vivaLaVidaBxt@WelshFanZoneTV It's not a smear at all, it's literally a question borne from your own words. Of course voters are allowed to care about those things, but making out the Senedd has any way of controlling immigration is disingenuous at best, and it has been a consistent theme of this election.
@vivaLaVidaBxt@WelshFanZoneTV Well for a starting point borders are nothing to do with the Senedd's remit so it's purely a dog whistle. Their rhetoric through their existence has been that of division, so it's probably a better question if it's asked as: what citizens do you think they want to put first?
@vivaLaVidaBxt@WelshFanZoneTV No. They're saying they want to put *SOME* British people first. Ask yourself if you, your family, your friends are within that "some", then make your decision. But don't moan about it when the leopards eating people party actually do send leopards to eat people.
@Captainwolf4242@JoeEason1@afneil What would be the tactical benefit of deploying drones in this scenario without a land invasion force? To frighten the wildlife? Use your head FFS.
@OnlyNorthWales@LloydCymru@statsjamie Backbenchers are on 72k basic. It's a good salary when compared with the average but the type of people you're after are already on more and their face isn't known/disliked by half their community, they don't get abused on a daily basis, and lead relatively hassle free lives.
@OnlyNorthWales@LloydCymru@statsjamie It would need salaries and incentives to drastically increase; people already think politicians are paid too much, making an increase unlikely. So we're stuck with dregs, morally competent but lacklustre individuals, or people already operating in pockets of large companies. Yay.
@FayeEsq@LloydCymru Their usual trope against it is how much Wales costs them, so you'd expect they'd agree straight away if there was any truth in that...
@steven_cas85123@spooked75@DUNBAR74 His method of asking has essentially been the school bully who threatened to beat you up if you didn't hand over your lunch money and belongings for 12 months, then crying to you for help when kids from the school 2 towns over are throwing stones at him from behind a fence.
@MikeMau45138613@DaveYates86@WarClandestine Ok I'll bite...what do you think would happen medium-long term in that wild scenario? Where the US holds the rest of the world's trade to ransom through hoarding, restriction of oil and price gouging?
@SeneddWaste I respectfully suggest that your English reading comprehension would prevent you from attaining this position, not your inability to speak Welsh
