@NeilFlochMD The study has two obvious problems, doesn’t mention which GLP1s were being taken and the massive difference in actual first year results and predicted ten year results…

@SebPillon@wesstreeting Brilliant thread. As a fresh GP I’ve had these thoughts but the cases you’ve used articulate it perfectly. We do all the tests now and unless we find a positive test secondary care aren’t interested, they often care not for the patient or the story
@DrNadolsky Really enjoyed the podcast with Brad Stulberg, was hoping you’d ask how GLP1s change the landscape of achieving goals, particularly with respect to the point around what to do when weight loss plateaus and finding joy in the process / health after that
@ShivaniM_KC I don’t have the answers, but there is a future when off patent long term 5mg Tirzepatide for a lot of people on the NHS. I agree the wraparound care is very important / as important but pharmacological appetite suppression to reduce calorific consumption is helpful regardless
First podcast appearance ✅ tricky topic to discuss but happy with how it turned out. Controversial book at times! Very privileged to have been asked to be a guest. Bedside reading, discussing the Age of Diagnosis by Dr Suzanne O’Sullivan
