โThank God You Have Finally Agreed That Peter Obi Is Popular And That People Are Riding On His Popularity To Contest. However, Every Nigerian Has a Right To Contest. Beyond Aisha, Randy, Every Nigerian Out There Who Is Patriotic Can Pick a Form And If You Believe That Peter Obi Has The Capacity To Get You There, Good. Also, If We See People Who Have Been Speaking For The Benefit Of The Country And Wanting To Add Value, Letโs Support Them When They Come To Contest.โ
Dear Nigerians, PAY ATTENTION!
Because the new Electoral Act contains three dangerous provisions that youโre unaware of.
This is the former INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner. His name is Mike Igini, & he has raised serious concerns about these changes:
1. The Act now allows candidates contesting for elections to print their own ballot papers.
2. It also permits INEC officials to accept ballot papers that lack INECโs security features.
A government that failed woefully is only confident of victory because they have bought the umpire. INEC is an official arm of the APC.
They are doing everything to subvert the will of the people. But they will be resisted. Mike Igini explained everything. It all makes sense now.
NIGERIANS WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM!๐ฎ๐ณ

No, Mr President, this is not the Time for Holidaying.
Dear Nigerians, I am struggling with my senses to understand what is happening to governance in this country.
What I have seen and witnessed in the last two years has left me in shock about poor governance delivery and apparent channelling of energy into politics and satisfaction of the elites, while the masses in our midst are languishing in want.
In the past two years, Nigeria has lost more people to all sorts of criminality than a country that is officially at war. Without any twilight, Nigeria ranks among the most insecure places in the world. Nigerians are hungrier, and most people do not know where their next meal will come from.
With such a gory picture of oneโs country, you can imagine my bewilderment when I saw a news release from the Presidency announcing that President Bola Tinubu is departing Nigeria today for a visit to Saint Lucia in the Caribbean.
The Presidency release merely confirmed an earlier news report since last week where the Prime Minister of the Caribbean Philip J. Pierre announced at a pre-cabinet press briefing on Monday, last week that
President Bola Tinubu is expected to depart Nigeria on Saturday, June 28, 2025, for Saint Lucia for official engagements and private leisure time.
According to the Prime Ministerโs announcement โtwo of these days, June 30 and July 1, will be dedicated to an official visit, with the remainder of the trip set aside as a personal vacation.
I told the person who drew my attention to the Caribbean story that it cannot be true and that the President is just coming back from a holiday in Lagos. I didnโt want to believe that anybody in the position of authority, more so the President, on whose table the buck stops in this country, with all the myriad problems in virtually all areas of governance, would contemplate a leisure trip at this time.
This is a President going for leisure when he couldnโt visit Minna, Niger state where over two hundred lives were lost and over 700 persons still missing in a flood natural disaster. I wonder which type of incident will happen before a President is attracted to show physical sympathy to the distressed citizens.
The other state in crisis where over two hundred lives were murdered, the President yielded to public pressure and visited Makurdi the state capital for what turned out to be a political jamboree than condolence as public holiday was declared and children made to line up to receive the President who couldnโt even reach the village, the scene of the brutal attack.
In terms of land size, Makurdi is 937.4 Kmยฒ, which is over 59% bigger than St Lucia, which is 617 kmยฒ, and Minna is 6789 square kilometres, which is ten times bigger than St Lucia. St Lucia, with a population of 180,000, is less than half of Makurdiโs 489 839 and Minna, with 532, 000 is almost three times the population of St Lucia.
I don't think the situation in this country today calls for leisure for anybody in a position of authority, more so the President, on whose desk the buck stops. This regime has repeatedly shown its insensitivity and lack of passion for the populace, going by the way it prioritises the rich and shows indifference to the poor.
This very obvious indifference of the federal government to the suffering of the Nigerian poor should urgently be reversed. One had expected the President to be asking God for extra hours in a day for the challenges, but what we see is a concentration of efforts in the 2027 election and on satisfying the wealthy while the mass poor continues to multiply in number.
Finally, I like to let our leaders know one thing that the God given resources of this country belong to all, not to a few. The time has come to put a stop to this drift before it consumes all and focus on pulling people out of poverty.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
Today is my last day as a software engineer at Moniepoint.
Itโs been 10 years since I started my career at this great company. 10 years of blood, sweat, tears, and triumph. What a journey it has been!!
@Alaba589@IfyCharity5 This is very bad for anyone to experience.... I am a victim and so are many others that are directly involved with me... The failed promises, lack of conscience, and inability to meet up agreed date still baffles me till date..
EFCC Arraigns Jesam Michael for alleged Investment Scam
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 arraigned Jesam Michael and his company Afriq Arbiq Arbitrage System Limited before Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja for alleged investment scam.
They were arraigned on a seven- count charge bordering on obtaining under false pretence, operating without a licence and fraud.
Count one of the charge reads; that you JESAM MICHEAL UBI and AFRIQ ARBIQ ARBITRAGE SYSTEM LIMITED between September 2022 and June, 2023 in Abuja within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court whilst not being a bank or person authorized to take deposits invited the public through advertisement to deposit funds with AFRIQ ARBITRAGE SYSTEM LIMITED and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 44 (1) of the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act, 2020 and punishable under Section 44 (2) of the same Act.
Count two reads: That you MICHEAL UBI and AFRIQ ARBITRAGE SYSTEM LIMITED between September 2022 and June, 2023 in Abuja within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court carried on specialized business of other financial institutions to wit: investment management without a valid licence and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 57(1) and (2) of the Banks and Others Financial Institutions Act, 2020 and punishable under Section 57(5) of the same Act.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges when they were read to him.
In view of the plea, the prosecuting counsel prayed the court for a trial date.
Defense counsel, Uchenna Njoku, SAN called the attention of the court to the bail application of the client.
The EFCC counsel also informed the court of a counter affidavit urging the court to deny the defendant bail on the ground that he may not make himself available for trial due to the gravity of the offence charged and the weight of the evidence against him. Also, there is a strong likelihood that he may seek to suborn witnesses given the weight of evidence and nature of offence.
Justice Egwuatu denied the defendant bail and ordered that the defendant be remanded in the Kuje Correctional Center till the date of his trial.
Micheal journey to the correctional center started when the Commission received multiple petitions from victims who deposited funds with the company under the pretense of providing investment opportunities
The matter was adjourned to June 20, 2025 for trial.
