How Transnational Repression affects you really depends on your specific situation. Authoritarian and hybrid regimes use these tactics to silence critics, activists, and political opponents across borders. But they also target regular employees at large international corporations, using coercion to force business dealings in foreign countries—effectively strong-arming victims outside their own borders.

They also aggressively target anyone who stumbles across vital information. What do these regimes actually want? For the most part, they want total silence, or they want to control damaging information that could hurt their global image.Transnational Repression is highly complicated, and because it relies on proxy threats or digital harassment, it can be incredibly hard to prove.

However, it absolutely violates international laws and sovereign rights. I’ll be making videos soon to raise awareness and educate people on how to spot and counter TNR….

I’m a Dubai Golden Visa holder, and it’s one of the worst mistakes I’ve ever made in my life dealing with the UAE/Dubai.

All they do once you become a UAE resident is spy on your personal life and put spyware on your devices, whether they are for personal or business use.

Their reach goes across borders. They even sent physical stalkers to stalk me at the gym and the grocery store in the U.S. even stalking my two year old daughter….
