After nearly 4 years in the making, my newest R package hdbayes is finally on CRAN. The goal of hdbayes (historical data Bayes) is to provide user friendly R functions to implement common historical data priors. Check it out and let me know what you think! https://t.co/MeSMwldZuA
Our survey shows substantial shares of LGBT adults say that a recent negative experience with a health care provider led to consequences โ such as making them less likely to seek care, leading them to switch providers, or causing their health to get worse. https://t.co/8NuRGmPFQI
Stoked to head to Seattle at @Swedish_FH_FMR for my Family Medicine training!
Truly canโt express enough gratitude for the community that made this possible! #Match2024#FMRevolution
A big congratulations to our inaugural @KPMedSchool students who matched today! We are so proud of you!

@RaquelAidaVR Friend of mine had something similar with their step scores. They emailed all programs with a brief explanation. Many replied thanking and saying they redownloaded. If a program they signaled did not reply, they asked our Dean of students to reach out.

How I explain shared decision-making to pts:
I'm your medical consultant-I explain the indications, risks, alternatives, benefits, but you're the boss of your body.
My medical facts + your goals/preferences = the plan that's right for you.

New publication in @JAdolesHealth! In work led by @caryssalim and Rebecca Dudovitz, we found that visiting a school-based health center (particularly for mental health) improved kids' school attendance trajectories. @dgsomucla@KPMedSchool@thelatrust https://t.co/xOtHd7ycIw

I shed many tears while typing up these heart-wrenching text messages sent and received by UNC students yesterday. Our campus was on lockdown for more than three hours.
Beyond proud of this cover and the team behind it.

@msmarinmd@wearfigs@MandalaScrubs fit a bit roomier in my experience with similar fabric (in terms of quality) to figs. I can only speak to the menโs sizing though!
I am concerned about the TX abortion pill decision not just for the immediate implications about access, but also for the long-term implications about the role of evidence (or not) in regulatory decisions.
Thx to @drJoshS for articulating all of this.

We told you that gay people were next.
Texas SB1443 would ban from school libraries any books that have characters who are of the same sex in a relationship. It also bans trans characters.
It bans website access with the above too.
Don't think they'll stop with trans people.
