@CasualTweeter2 @JohnMul45354802 @BenGoldsmith You might need to do it, but you are still making people's walks less pleasant and more dangerous. You need to be thinking about the impact of your choices.
@Benny__H@CourtNewsUK If you distracted yourself while stationary, you can remain distracted when you set off. You need to be aware of what is going on around you all the time you are in charge of a motor vehicle.
@arben_sallaku@willnorman@TfL@CargoRevolution No cargo bikes have bmx wheels.
You don't seem to understand logic, or you are being deliberately illogical. Your 300% figure is a long way of being anything like accurate
@cjmallows @Bellagio_bound @mjhall0854 Yes, people often use mean to argue that a situation is not as bad as it seems. Both mean and median are useful, but we need to be careful about how we use them.
@arben_sallaku@willnorman@TfL@CargoRevolution What has 70mph got to do with urban logistics? So when you are using you transit to move 500kg you are using 80% of the energy just to move the van. that seems really inefficient.
That picture is not really relevant to anything
@BurnsideNew@willnorman@TfL@CargoRevolution Not a measure of efficiency, you want to know how much can be delivery per hour and the cost. Work has been done on this https://t.co/tvBHy1chWz
Also a van's gross weight will always be mostly van, whereas a cargo bike's can be 80% payload
@arben_sallaku@willnorman@TfL@CargoRevolution There is more than one bike.
If you think using 1700 kg of van to move at most (but more often less than half of) 1100kg of payload is efficient, then I'd suggest you need a new dictionary
@cjmallows @Bellagio_bound @mjhall0854 Median is an average, as is mean. It is not the half way point in the salary number, but the halfway point between the lower and higher paid - half of all staff are paid below the median salary.
