@FinPlanKaluAja1 Both will likely suffer great impact.
Maybe ๐จ๐ณ is even more prepared due to the centralised control of the economy - it will likely be able to pivot elsewhere helped by the ๐บ๐ธ alienating everyone. Then the geopolitics factor - Taiwan, South China Sea... more cards to play imo.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 Goes both ways...
Where does the US replace this supply? Can the domestic capacity be ramped up enough to meet demand (not just assembly but also raw materials and components which likely depend on international supply chain)?
@cycloben2 Someone who does know the background story would think that it's not the same SDWorx that helped her win 1 TdF, 2 Vuelta, LBL, Fleche and all the major wins of her career untill this year... ๐
Fact - the US bankrolls many transnational initiatives. But it's also a fact that its status as the pre-eminent power/economy is anchored on this policy.
It is within its right to withdraw now but must also accept the resulting decline in influence and prosperity (mid/long term).
Entirely reasonable. Hopefully, Europe wakes up and takes full responsibility for its security.
The more pertinent question is whether America fully grasps and accepts a key consequence of withdrawing from internationalism - a decline of its influence and, I dare say, wealth.
former finland pm sanna marin in new op ed:
โit is entirely reasonable for american taxpayers to question why they should shoulder more of the cost of european security than europe itself. given the clear message from washington, it is simply unrealistic not to strengthen europeโs own defense capabilities.โ
This might just be senility (everything is not witchcraft)! I can't imagine how many elderly in similar situations have been harmed (or worse). ๐
Many who emigrate as caregives take care of people like this.
We need more mental health awareness in this country. @nigerianmh
@BenjiNaesen Demi is leaving the team this year, so I don't know how else SdWorx is expected to play it.
It is fair that they would naturally prefer the winner to defend the title in their Jersey next year. If Lotte is in a position to win the overall, by all means, they should back her.
@ruffydfire It's all good if the puppet actually breaks its shackles to chart its own course rather than replacing a master of domination with that of manipulation.
