One underrated way to get clients as a video editor:
Re-edit 1–2 minutes of a creator's video and post it while tagging them.
You're not telling people you're an editor.
You're showing them.
It's way more effective than replying to every "Looking for editors" post on X all day
YouTube and Instagram are my main targets right now to increase my chances of landing more clients and hopefully high-ticket ones.
But I also need to be more active on X.
More posts.
More visibility.
More opportunities.
Now it's all about staying consistent.
I don’t edit videos with an editor’s mindset anymore.
I edit with one question in mind: how do we make people keep watching?
More engagement. More retention. More watch time.
Editing is just a tool to achieve that.
That’s what separates a $100 edit from a $1,000+ edit.
