Reports this morning from @diarioas say the US Gov't is reminding content creators that you risk deportation if you are seen working or shooting professional content on a Tourist Visa. Please, don't joke with this.

It is happening.

Secondly, for creators who are coming to the US or are engaged in GH but are having trouble receiving payments in Ghana like @mistameister lamented last month in the quoted tweet, my people at @PayAngelMoney have a solution.

Here's how it works for me, personally:

When you do a remote service for someone in the US, UK, Kenya or wherever and collecting money is a struggle, they've created a platform where you can collect these funds either through a payment link, scanning a qr code or embed the API in your website or social media storefront.

You just go to into your portal, create a link or qr and share with the people engaging you, they pay, it comes to you.

They can pay using MoMo, local bank cards and/or foreign bank cards.
The money can be held in different wallets. So, for me, all my Al Jazeera dollar payments are bulked together, all @FourFourTwo Pound payments together, all my @kicker Euros payments together, etc.

And then you can then pay out into your Ghana bank account as cedi.

You can also use the same portal to make outward payments, so that you will pay people in Ghana (only Ghana for outward payments for now).

If you do giveaways like I do, you can pay to one person at once or many people at once. Whatever works for you.

This practically cuts out you having to go to the banking hall. You can sort all payments and collections from your desktop. Easy.
