@HabitatUK one of your candles exploded during dinner last night. Could have been a lot worse, if the glass had broken further down there’s every chance we’d have had a fire. Can you please contact me so I can provide details for your supplier?
Anyone like to estimate how many sea creatures, fish, dolphins, whales and porpoises were harmed/killed in this PR exercise by the US Navy? @BBCNews you should be calling this out… https://t.co/PLi693FQHN
This is Digby. Today he did something amazing and helped save a young woman who was thinking of taking her own life on a bridge over the M5 near Exeter (thread👇)
Boom 💥 my first #paintedladybutterfly this year! One of the best migration stories, this little butterfly has flown from Morocco, across Spain, France, and the channel and is still heading north 🙌🏻 They lay their eggs in the UK and the new butterflies fly to Morocco! Nuts 😂
@MilesKing10 Can’t believe you’ve got your numbers right Miles. I’m no fan of grouse shoots but if you extend your argument to all managed land we’d have to get rid of arable, pasture, forestry etc. Just like grouse moor, non of these are natural habitats.
These strange, white PLASTIC ‘gates’ have appeared at each end of #Bepton village. In an age of plastic awareness, you’ve got to question why these have appeared by the side of a road in a conservation zone village within a national park. Plastic aside, they look dreadful too 🙈
How about this little #muntjac that was stood by the side of the road last night? A handful were released in Woburn 100 years ago and they’re now everywhere.
@JPBWFarm@Ranger_sdnpa Cuckoo flower — named because it was seen at the same time as cuckoos were heard. Before climate change turned up... and nobody told the cuckoos...
