የኢ.ፌ.ዴ.ሪ. ጦር ሐይሎች ጠቅላይ ኢታማዦር ሹም ፊልድ ማርሻል ብርሃኑ ጁላ ‹‹ የሀገር መከላከያ ሠራዊት በአማራ ክልል እየተዋጋ የሚገኘው በ10 ፐርሰንት (አቅሙ) ብቻ መሆኑን ›› ተናግረዋል፡፡

ፊልድ ማርሻሉ በአማራ ክልል ስላለው ወቅታዊ ሁኔታ አስመልክቶ ነሐሴ 25 ቀን 2015 ዓ.ም በብሔራዊው ቴሌቪዥን ጣቢያ በተሰራጨ የቪዲዮ መልዕክት ‹‹ በአማራና ኦሮሚያ ፅንፈኞች ስጋት ወደማይሆኑበት ደረጃ መድረሳቸውን ›› ተናግረዋል፡፡

ኢታማዦር ሹሙ ‹‹ ድሮን ተጠቀመ፣ ሦስት ሄሊኮፕተር ማረክን፣ ታንክ ማረክን፣ ጄነራል ገደልን፣ እያለ የሌለ ድል እያጮሀ ወጣት መሰብሰብ አይቻልም ›› ብለዋል፡፡

አክለውም ‹‹ ታንኩም፣ ሄሊከፕተሩን፣ ድሮኑን አሳይ በለው፤ ከማረከ ለምን አያሳይም ›› ሲሉ ጠይቀዋል፡፡ ‹‹ ምን ዓይነት ሰዎች ትግሉን ለመምራት ተሰልፈው እንዳሉ ነው የሚያሳያው፤ ያሳፍራል ›› ሲሉም አክለዋል፡፡

‹‹ የአማራ ሕዝብ በፍፁም እነሱ ጋር እንዳልሆነ ደግሞ አሳይቷል ›› የሚሉት ፊልድ ማርሻሉ ‹‹ ከሠራዊቱ ጋር በመተባባር ቁስለኛ በማከም፣ ወንጀለኛ በመጠቆም፣ ለሠራዊቱ የቻለውን ያህል የሎጂስቲክ ድጋፍ በማቅረብ፣ እነርሱን ደግሞ ይሄ ነገር ይቅርባችሁ፤ ተዉ - በሰላም ታገሉ - ትግል ከሆነ ብሏቸዋል ›› ሲሉ ተናግረዋል፡፡
