This is epistemicide in action: a deliberate attempt to deracinate indigenous knowledges and beliefs.
People like this preacher seek to replace our ancient, uniquely African Tewahado Christianity with American Christianity. He calls his mission a “Crusade.”
The Ethiopian Government assists him, failing to support or fund our indigenous education system that ranges from religious interpretation to highly complex philosophy.
This is not spreading the word of God. This is colonialism.

While I am very glad, he rejoined his family, I do believe he needs to be compensated for being wrongly & unjustly incarcerated.
